Some things we all need to learn
One of the many things that I feel society needs to learn is how to have an argument or debate. Many people, including myself, fall into logical fallacies that invalidate our argument. This doesn't mean that the conclusion is false, but that the validation for the conclusion is. There are many logical fallacies that exist, but to not rant on them myself, please follow this link...

...while this is not a complete list, it does include the most common. Know how to have a proper debate of issues is important if we are ever going to reach logical conclusions on a variety of issues, including morality and religion. To go one step further with debating, people need to understand when they need to defend themselves, in other words, provide the burden of proof. If you make a claim, you need to provide the evidence to support your claim. I am an atheist, I have no burden of proof, I reject the notion of a god as their is not evidence to support the claim there is a god. If you want to claim to be a theist, you need to provide the evidence in any debate as you are making the claim. If you claim that vaccines cause harm to people, you need to provide the evidence for that claim. However, if I were to make the claim that bigfoot exists or that alien abudctions happen, I have the burden of proof. Or if I claim there is absolutely no god, then I must provide evidence, also known as the hard atheist position, which I do not hold.
